TGR BioSciences Pty Ltd (TGR) is
a biotechnology company that was
established in 2001 and is located in Adelaide, Australia. TGR is focused on
drug discovery assay technologies and applies its core skills in cell biology to
the development of new Biodetection technologies.
Drug Discovery Tools
TGR has developed novel high throughput screening assays in cultured cells.
One of our assay methodologies - SureFire® - is a unique, proprietary
technology that is ideally suited to screening thousands of samples at a time. TGR sells SureFire® kits to cell biology laboratories and to the global drug discovery market with our marketing partner,
PerkinElmer, Inc. (USA). We currently have ~40 kits on the market, each measuring a different cell target for new targeted therapies such as cancer and inflammation.
TGR also collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and currently has a number of new assay discovery
and biodetection technologies in development to address new market segments and broaden TGR's reach within the multi-billion dollar assay technologies market.
Licensing/Acquisition Opportunity
TGR has rights to several families of patented therapeutic candidates that are available for licensing or acquisition. One such product opportunity is the regeneration technology for dermal, bone and cartilage repair. Extensive supporting data for this technology, including in vitro and in vivo data, can be provided to interested parties.
